The TAJIMA GASFGL2550 tape measure (G-Lock Armor Safety Series), with a length of 5.0 meters and a tape width of 25 millimeters, is a top-end safety tape measure engineered with a rigid, extra-thick blade to resist bending/buckling in mid-air and extend standout distance for solo measurements. The exterior features a dual-armored design combining high-impact engineering ABS plastic surrounded by an extra-thick elastomer rubber casing (G-Lock) that maximizes absorption and dispersion of impact forces from drops onto hard surfaces. Confidence in precision and accuracy is guaranteed by Japanese Industrial Standards certification (JIS Class 1).

Features
Extra-Thick Rigid Blade: Steel tape is thicker than standard models, offering high resistance to twisting and bending while maintaining a long, straight standout without collapsing mid-reach.
Nylon Wrap Steel Tape: Hardened steel blade is coated with a nylon film (Nylon Coated) to enhance resistance against abrasion, scratches, jobsite stains, and rust. Markings are sharp, highly visible, and resist peeling.
Ergonomic Grip & Brake: Curved case design fits comfortably in the palm; the rubberized surface provides added grip to prevent slippage, paired with an easy-to-use front slide-lock button that holds the blade securely.
