The NITTO KOHKI Mini Cupla 25PH quick connect coupling for oxygen gas is a steel male plug adhering to Japanese heavy-duty industrial standards, engineered for oxygen supply lines and gas hoses in thermal welding and cutting operations. Its most critical feature is the "Misconnection Prevention" design, where the dimensions and profile of the quick-connect end are restricted to couple exclusively with oxygen-side sockets; it cannot be connected to fuel gas couplings (such as acetylene or LPG), preventing serious hazards from backflow or mixing of improper gases. The rear end features a 5/16-inch (approx. 8 mm) hose barb suitable for securely and safely clamping onto gas hoses.
