The Nitto Kohki Mini Cupla model CC22SM is an industrial quick coupler socket (female). The rear connection features a nut-type compression structure designed to clamp securely onto an 8.5 mm air or gas hose. The body is crafted from premium genuine brass with a chrome-plated finish, imported from Japan. This model is specially engineered and dimensioned for use in oxygen supply lines for metal cutting and gas welding applications. It features a safety interchange prevention structure that physically prevents cross-connection with fuel gas lines, enhancing safety and preventing severe hazards in the workspace.

Features

Sleeve Safety Keyway: The socket dimensions and slide-locking grooves are designed to mate exclusively with oxygen male plugs and cannot be connected to fuel gas fittings (such as LPG or Acetylene), preventing operator error.

Secure Nut Type Lock: The tightening nut firmly clamps the 8.5 mm rubber or air hose onto the stem of the coupler, eliminating air leaks and preventing the hose from whipping off under sudden pressure surges.

Chrome Plated Solid Brass Construction: The solid brass body provides 100% rust-free properties, reinforced externally with a chrome plating that resists welding spatter and scratches, and allows oil stains to be easily wiped clean.

Built-in Automatic Shut-off Valve: The spring valve mechanism inside the socket immediately shuts off the flow path when the male plug is disconnected, preventing residual oxygen gas from leaking onto the work area.

Applications

Used for installation into oxygen supply pipe lines and industrial gas welding/cutting sets (Oxy-fuel Cutting Welding Kits) for quick tool changeovers at the hose end.
