The Nitto Kohki TSP Cupla model 1TSF BRASS NBR is an industrial quick-connect coupling (female coupler/socket) with an R1/8-inch male thread, manufactured from premium solid brass imported from Japan. The defining feature of the TSP Cupla series is its "valveless structure", which allows liquids, chemicals, air, or high-viscosity fluids to flow freely at 100% full capacity without system pressure loss (zero pressure drop). Combined with a high-durability nitrile rubber (NBR) seal, it delivers a tight, secure, leak-free connection that remains rust-free throughout its service life.

Features

Maximum Flow Rate (Valveless Design for High Flow): The open-bore design with no internal valve mechanism minimizes frictional resistance, allowing high-viscosity fluids, air, or gases to flow through smoothly and at maximum speed.

Solid Brass Construction: Offers outstanding resistance to corrosion from moisture, chemicals, and harsh working environments, preventing rust and scale from eroding the fitting.

High-Grade NBR Seal: Resiliently withstands lubricating oils, chemical impurities, and gases in pneumatic systems, completely preventing leaks around the joint.

High-Precision R1/8 Male Thread (Standard R1/8 Male Taper Thread): Machined with high-precision CNC equipment for taper threads (PT), ensuring a tight, reliable fit when threaded into pneumatic equipment or pipelines.

Applications

Ideal for installation in machine cooling water circulation lines, low-to-medium pressure hydraulic lines, chemical lines, or air systems requiring an exceptionally high flow rate.

Widely used in plastic injection molding (cooling water lines), chemical processing industries, automotive assembly plants, and fluid transfer systems handling viscous fluids.

Important Caution: Because this is a valveless coupler, any fluid or air remaining in the pipeline will discharge immediately upon disconnection. A main shut-off valve must always be installed upstream and closed before disconnecting the coupler.
