Nitto Kohki TSP Cupla Model 2TSF STEEL NBR is an industrial quick coupler (female coupler/socket) with R1/4-inch male thread, manufactured from carbon steel with special hardening of the highest quality from Japan. The unique feature of the TSP Cupla series is its valveless structure with a 100% open cross-section. This allows viscous fluids, air, or gases to flow freely at maximum capacity without obstruction from a valve stem, achieving maximum flow rates with zero pressure drop in the system. Combined with a genuine nitrile rubber (NBR) seal, it provides a secure seal and maximum safety for power transmission and heavy-duty industrial applications.

Features

Valveless High Flow: With no internal valve mechanism or shut-off spring, air or liquid flows through the entire cross-section with zero pressure drop, ideal for high-flow applications.

Hardened Steel Body: The body undergoes surface hardening treatment, providing excellent resistance to impacts, friction from frequent mating/unmating, and vibrations from pneumatic tools.

High-Grade NBR Seal: High-precision nitrile rubber seal that offers resilient resistance to lubricating oils, common chemicals, and low-to-medium hydraulic oil pressures, ensuring absolute leak prevention.

Standard R1/4 Male Taper Thread: Machined with British Standard Pipe Taper (PT) threads using high-precision CNC equipment, ensuring a tight and secure fit with fittings and supply lines.

Applications

Suitable for installation in high-flow air supply lines, machinery lubricant supply lines, low-to-medium pressure hydraulic oil lines, or non-corrosive gas piping systems.

Widely used in automotive assembly plants, heavy machinery maintenance workshops, pneumatic equipment assembly lines, and piping systems in the steel industry.

Important Caution: Because this fitting is a valveless type without an internal check valve, air or fluid remaining in the pipeline will discharge immediately upon disconnection. Operators must always shut off the upstream main control valve before disconnecting the coupler for safety.
