NITTO KOHKI Hi Cupla Model 400SM (STEEL NBR) is a large, premium industrial-grade female quick connect socket featuring an Rc 1/2-inch (4 hun) female thread body, designed and manufactured under Japan's advanced engineering standards. The body is made of special hardened steel to enhance structural resistance against friction wear, withstand jobsite torque and impacts, and bolster environmental durability with high-quality anti-rust surface coating.

This Hi Cupla series coupler is equipped with a smart internal one-way automatic shut-off valve inside the socket, which immediately cuts off the air supply upon disconnection of the male plug, completely preventing backflow and pressure leakage. It accommodates standard working pressures up to 1.5 MPa with a maximum pressure tolerance of 2.0 MPa. Paired with a genuine nitrile rubber (NBR) O-ring for superior sealing, it provides exceptional elasticity and resistance to oil mist and chemical vapors in pneumatic systems. Ideal for installation at primary air supply points (Main Lines) from air receiver tanks or factory main distribution headers.

Features

Hardened Steel Body: The body offers exceptionally high mechanical strength, resisting drops, impacts, drag abrasions, and enduring vibrations from heavy air tools over the long term.

Female One-Way Valve System: The spring valve mechanism inside the socket immediately shuts off the air supply upon disconnection, enabling safe air tool changes without having to walk over to shut off the air compressor valve.

Japanese Engineering-Grade NBR Seal: Provides absolute all-around leak prevention, highly resistant to heat, compressor oil mist, and lubricants carried through the air line.

High Flow Rate & Low Pressure Drop: The internal airflow design is aerodynamically calculated to maximize airflow efficiency, minimizing power loss within the pneumatic system.
