The body is forged from special steel and hardened to enhance resistance to wear and rotational impacts from air tools. The coupler connection end features a 1/2-inch male thread (R 1/2 or PT 1/2), making it ideal for job sites that demand massive flow rates and continuous operation under high pressure. Its internal mechanism features a one-way automatic shut-off valve; air is immediately blocked when the male plug is disconnected, ensuring safety without wasting time turning off the main valve.
