The NITTO KOHKI Hi Cupla 40SM BRASS NBR is a heavy-duty industrial-grade male-threaded female quick coupler (Socket) made of high-quality genuine brass from Japan. The body is engineered with high precision, giving the brass high density and zero porosity, providing complete resistance to rust and corrosion caused by moisture in compressed air systems.

This model comes with a highly elastic and resilient Nitrile rubber (NBR) seal specifically designed for pneumatic systems, perfectly preventing air leakage at connection points. The internal one-way shut-off valve on the socket side immediately blocks airflow when the plug is disconnected. Designed according to global Hi Cupla standards, it mates perfectly with 40PM, 40PF, or 40PH plugs, maximizing efficiency and safety for your pneumatic system.

Features

Hi-Grade Brass Construction: Resists corrosion from vapors and moisture in air hoses; will not peel or rust, providing a longer service life than standard steel couplers.

Genuine Japanese Nitrile Rubber (NBR) Seal: Resists friction, air compressor oil mist, and lubricants, providing an excellent tight seal even under fluctuating pressure conditions.

One-Way Shut-off Valve Mechanism: Features an automatic shut-off valve on the socket side when the plug is disconnected, preventing backflow and instantly cutting off air supply without having to walk over to shut the valve at the air tank.

High Pressure Resistance: Supports a maximum normal operating pressure of up to 1.0 MPa (approx. 10 kgf/cm²) and a proof pressure of up to 1.5 MPa.
