The NITTO KOHKI 2HP-PV (HP Cupla PV Series) is a special heavy-duty industrial quick-connect plug, manufactured and directly imported from Japan. The body is made of a proprietary hardened steel for enhanced durability, designed for ultrahigh-pressure hydraulic and compressed air systems with a working pressure of up to 70.0 MPa (or 700 bar). The distinctive feature of the -PV suffix model is its automatic "Two-way Shut-off" valve design, which instantly blocks and contains high-pressure oil or air within the line when disconnected. This prevents backlash, minimizes residual system pressure, and makes connecting and disconnecting safer and easier.
Features

Two-way Automatic Shut-off Valve: High-performance two-way valve system that immediately cuts off flow and seals oil/compressed air upon uncoupling the plug and socket, preventing messy oil spills on the work surface.
Purge Valve Function (-PV): Special valve mechanism enables smoother connection and disconnection even with slight residual internal pressure in the system, reducing operator effort and enhancing safety.

Special Hardened Steel Body: Specially hardened steel body with excellent resistance to impact, scratches, and extreme compressive pressure.

Rc 1/4" Female Thread: The rear inlet features an Rc 1/4" female thread that tightly couples to male-threaded hydraulic hoses or system fittings with zero clearance.
