NITTO KOHKI Zirconia Sanding Belt, SKU 41398, grit size Z60, is an ultimate heavy-duty industrial consumable from Japan, developed for aggressive and rapid metal grinding, polishing, and deburring. The sanding belt is designed to perfectly pair with NITTO KOHKI Belton pneumatic belt sanders (especially popular 10 mm width models like the B-10B). Featuring dimensions of 10 mm width and 330 mm circumference, the Zirconia Alumina grain features self-sharpening properties that continuously break down into sharp edges during use. This allows the sanding belt to maintain sharp cutting performance many times longer than conventional aluminium oxide belts, making it ideal for heavy-duty applications demanding high pressure and high friction on hard metal surfaces.

Features

Zirconia Alumina Grain (Z60): Grit 60 zirconia grain; medium-coarse grit removes metal rapidly and offers lasting sharpness via a self-sharpening breakdown mechanism.
Heavy Duty Cloth Backing: Extra-thick heavy-duty cloth backing (Y-Weight Backing) resists tearing and stretching, even during continuous grinding under high pressure.
High Heat Resistance: High-heat-resistant resin bond prevents grain shedding and reduces heat build-up on the workpiece, keeping metal surfaces free from burning or discoloration.
Seamless Joint Overlap: Seamless, flush belt joint provides smooth, bump-free sanding and prevents shock feedback to the air sander.
