The Jetbroach / Annular Cutter NITTO KOHKI Model NO.16384 (21.5 mm diameter, 35 mm depth) represents the pinnacle of professional industrial hole cutting tools from Japan. Designed to overcome the limitations of conventional drill bits through innovative annular cutting technology, it cuts only the outer circumference of the hole and ejects the solid steel center as a slug. This approach drastically minimizes friction, resists heat accumulation, and greatly reduces the load on magnetic drill presses—drilling through thick metal up to 3 times faster than standard high-speed steel twist drills. The resulting holes are highly precise, perfectly round, clean, and burr-free on the inside, saving time and delivering maximum cost efficiency on every job site.

Features

One-Touch Shank Quick-Lock System: The shank is designed with a standard cylindrical One-Touch system that instantly fits into the chuck of magnetic drilling machines. It locks securely and automatically with high safety, allowing quick and easy cutter changes by hand without requiring a wrench.

Premium TCT Carbide Cutting Teeth: The cutting teeth are made of extra-thick tungsten carbide (Tungsten Carbide Tipped) arranged in an alternating, balanced cutting angle and direction (Progressive Multi-Blade Cutting Geometry). This distributes pressure evenly, cuts smoothly through thick steel, resists high heat, and retains sharpness exceptionally well.

Deep Flutes for Smooth Chip Evacuation: The side chip flutes are precision-ground to an engineered depth and angle, quickly clearing metal chips out of the hole. This prevents chip clogging and accumulation, which are the main causes of cutter twisting, cracking, or breakage.

Precise Centering, No Pilot Hole Required: The cutter maintains excellent stability during drilling without wobbling, producing round holes that accurately match specifications with a smooth, clean surface finish without needing a pilot drill hole.
