The NITTO KOHKI Model NO.16407 is a premium-grade Jetbroach Cutter with a 24.5 mm hole diameter and a maximum cutting depth of 50 mm, directly imported from Japan. Engineered for drilling extra-thick metal plates, steel beams, and various structural steel sections in large-scale engineering projects, it uses "Annular Cutting" technology (cutting only the outer perimeter of the hole). This enables it to cut through thick steel plates up to 3 times faster than conventional straight-shank twist drills. The resulting holes are smooth, perfectly round, and free of burrs or sharp edges without requiring a pilot hole (No Pilot Hole Needed), saving operators time, speeding up workflow, and significantly reducing torque load on magnetic base drilling machines.

Features

World-Class TCT (Tungsten Carbide Tipped) Cutters: The cutting tips are made of special-grade tungsten carbide, highly resistant to high heat and wear from high-speed friction against thick metal. Enables smooth and continuous drilling through structural steel, mild steel plates, and stainless steel.

One-Touch (Round Shank) Quick-Change Tool-Less Locking System: Features a round shank with One-Touch quick-connect locking grooves. It can be snapped directly into the magnetic drill's arbor by hand with one touch—no wrenches required. Locks securely and safely with no runout or slipping.

High-efficiency chip ejection flute: The spiral flutes around the cutter body are precisely engineered according to Japanese standards to quickly evacuate metal chips from the hole, reducing heat buildup and chip clogging inside—a major cause of cutter breakage in workpieces.

Full 50 mm cutting depth: The cutting flute length is designed to cut completely through extra-thick steel plates or stacked metal layers (layered plates) in a single plunge.
