NITTO KOHKI NO.16401 is a premium-grade Jetbroach cutter with a 17.5 mm hole diameter and a maximum drilling depth of 50 mm, directly imported from Japan. Designed to revolutionize hole drilling in thick metals and all types of structural steel work, its "Annular Cutting" technology (cutting only the periphery of the hole) allows it to penetrate thick steel up to 3 times faster than conventional straight-shank drill bits. The resulting holes are smooth, perfectly round, burr-free, and clean without the need for a pilot hole (No Pilot Hole Needed), helping operators finish jobs quickly while saving time and reducing strain on the magnetic base drill.
Features

World-Class TCT (Tungsten Carbide Tipped) Cutters: The cutting teeth are made from extra-thick, special-grade carbide, resistant to heat accumulation and wear from high-speed metal friction. Capable of continuous, long-lasting drilling in ductile iron, cast iron, and thick stainless steel plates.

One-Touch quick-change shank locking system (Round Shank): The base features a standard round shank with One-Touch quick-lock grooves. It can be inserted and locked directly into the magnetic base drill chuck by hand without needing wrenches, providing a secure, tight, non-slip grip and maximum safety.
High-Efficiency Chip Ejection Flutes: The flutes around the cutter are calculated with precise angles to evacuate metal chips quickly, reducing heat accumulation and chip jamming inside—the main causes of cutter breakage.

Full drilling depth of 50 mm: The flute length is designed to penetrate extra-thick steel plates or layered metal plates completely in a single drilling pass.
