The NITTO KOHKI NO.16428 is a Jetbroach Cutter with a 28.0 mm hole diameter and a maximum drilling depth of 50 mm, directly imported from Japan. It is manufactured to meet the demands of drilling thick sheet metal, structural steel work, large steel roof trusses, and beam sections (H-Beam / I-Beam). With "Annular Cutting" architecture (cutting metal only around the periphery of the hole), it reduces the drilling machine's workload, produces round, smooth, neat, and burr-free holes, and cuts work time by more than 3 times compared to traditional drill bits without requiring a small pilot drill bit (No Pilot Hole Required). This saves on-site labor and provides outstanding drilling stability.

Features

Extra-Thick TCT (Tungsten Carbide Tipped) Tooth Construction: The cutting tips are tipped with high-quality carbide material that resists accumulated heat and wear from high-speed metal friction. It delivers smooth and continuous drilling through steel plates, ductile iron, and thick stainless steel sheets.

One-Touch quick-change shank locking system (Round Shank): The shank features an international standard round shank design for a one-touch quick-change mechanism. It can be snapped securely into the chuck of a magnetic base drill by hand immediately, offering a secure, tight, non-slip, and safe fit.

High-efficiency chip ejection flute: The flutes around the cutter body are precisely calculated to rapidly evacuate chips from the hole, reducing internal chip jamming—the main cause of cutter breakage.

50 mm cutting depth capacity: Supports drilling completely through extra-thick steel plates or multi-layered metal plates in a single plunge.
