NITTO KOHKI HSP Cupla model 8HS is a premium heavy-duty industrial quick-connect female coupler socket (Made in Japan), engineered specifically for hydraulic systems that handle hydraulic oil under high pressure and high-frequency cycling. Made from specially hardened steel, the body delivers maximum structural strength and exceptional resistance to impact, torque, and chemical corrosion from hydraulic fluids.

The 1-inch 8HS female-threaded coupler features an internal automatic shut-off valve that instantly stops fluid flow upon disconnection, preventing fluid loss and accurately maintaining system pressure. The external sleeve operates via a smooth, precise spring-lock mechanism, allowing technicians to connect and disconnect hydraulic lines quickly, easily, and with maximum safety—delivering flawless performance for heavy machinery, automated production lines, and all types of hydraulic equipment.

Features

Special hardened steel construction resists high pressure: Made from top-grade hardened steel (Hardened Steel Body), it supports normal working pressures up to 20.6 MPa (approx. 210 kgf/cm²) and provides excellent resistance to accumulated pressure surges.

Leak-Free Valve Mechanism: The internal valve closes tightly immediately upon disconnection, preventing hydraulic oil dripping or spurting, protecting the jobsite environment, and reducing system power loss.

Easy-connect, secure sleeve locking mechanism: Designed with optimal clearance and internal sleeve springs for a tight, secure lock with no accidental release during operation under high pressure, while remaining easy to disconnect when switching lines.

Excellent oil flow rate (Low Pressure Drop): The internal flow path design reduces flow resistance and pressure drop, allowing the system to operate at full efficiency.

Special grade heat- and chemical-resistant rubber seals: Uses special rubber seals (Special NBR/FKM) that resist erosion from all types of hydraulic fluids and withstand high operating temperatures, providing an exceptionally long service life.

Applications

Suitable for connecting hydraulic oil lines in heavy machinery, excavators, loaders, hydraulic presses, and construction hydraulic equipment.
