NITTO KOHKI Jet Broach code NO.16337 is a high-quality steel hole cutter, commonly known among technicians as an annular cutter, of premium industrial standard directly from Japan. Designed as a high-performance cutting tool for hole-drilling operations on thick steel plates, structural steel, and large structural sections (such as H-beam and I-beam). The cutter stands out with its innovative One-Touch shank system (or 19.05 mm universal quick-change shank) that breaks through traditional limitations, allowing operators to immediately lock it into a magnetic base drill chuck without using tools or hex keys to tighten locking bolts—convenient, fast, and dramatically reducing work time.

The Jet Broach cutting process cuts metal only around the circumference (Annular Cutting Technique), unlike conventional straight-shank or taper-shank drill bits that must destroy the entire volume of metal throughout the hole. As a result, it requires less torque, lowers machine power consumption, reduces heat buildup on the workpiece, and penetrates quickly. The cutting teeth are tipped with special-grade TCT (Tungsten Carbide Tipped) with progressive alternating blade angles, allowing smooth, gentle, and quiet cutting through thick steel while greatly reducing the risk of tooth breakage, delivering clean, precise cuts meeting the highest engineering standards.
