The Bosch Starlock Bi-Metal Plunge Cut Blade for Hard Wood AIZ 32 BSPIB PRO (2 608 669 070) is a premium professional-grade (PRO Series) plunge cut saw blade designed for deep plunge cutting in hardwood and various types of processed timber. The blade is manufactured using bimetal (BIM) technology, combining a flexible, durable high carbon steel (HCS) body with high-speed steel (HSS) teeth that are razor-sharp and resilient. Featuring Curved-Tec rounded cutting edge technology and a precision-ground, alternating Japanese tooth design, it allows smooth, rapid, and exceptionally clean cutting in hardwood. It comes with the intelligent Starlock mounting system with a 3D connection that locks the blade firmly onto the multi-tool without wobble or vibration, providing accurate line-of-sight and vertical control with a standard 32 mm cutting width and up to 50 mm plunge depth.

Starlock Interface System: The standard Starlock locking interface ensures a tight, flush fit onto the tool head, minimizing wobble and power loss while delivering maximum, consistent cutting power transfer. Supports tool-free snap-in blade changes in just 3 seconds.

Bimetal (BIM) Construction: Made from bi-metal, providing a significantly longer service life than conventional carbon steel blades and offering superior resistance to heat buildup and friction when cutting hardwood.

Curved-Tec & Japanese Tooth Design: The tooth edge features a slightly rounded profile (Curved-Tec) combined with ultra-sharp Japanese-style tooth geometry, allowing smooth, precise, and vibration-free plunge entries into wood surfaces with rapid chip clearance and tear-free, clean cuts.

Optimal 32 mm. Width: A 32 mm blade width and 50 mm depth allow for agile and precise directional control when plunge cutting square openings, notching for recessed switch boxes, or trimming wood joints.
