The Bosch Starlock HCS Joint Cutter AIZ 28 SC (2 608 661 691) is a professional-grade, double-sided joint cutter / multi cutter blade for multi-tools. The blade is made of high carbon steel (HCS) featuring flexibility and sharpness, specifically engineered for slicing, cutting, and removing resilient, soft materials. Characterized by a double-sided ground cutting edge and a rounded pointed tip, it allows for quick plunge cutting and insertion into joints. Equipped with the Starlock 3D connection interface system, it ensures a tight fit with the tool for maximum oscillation power transfer and supports the 3-second Snap-In tool-free blade change. Featuring a 28 mm blade width and a 40 mm blade length, it glides smoothly along joints without damaging surrounding workpiece edges.

Feature

Starlock Interface System: The standard Starlock interface system locks the blade securely with the tool, minimizing wobble or vibration feedback to the operator's hands. It maximizes power transmission from the motor to the cutting blade and enables blade changes in just 3 seconds without a screwdriver or wrench (Snap-In).

Double-Sided Sharp Cutting Edge: Both sides (left and right) of the blade edge are precision ground to be razor-sharp, allowing users to cut forward or pull backward smoothly and continuously along seams—faster than conventional single-edged blades.

High-Quality HCS Material: Made of high carbon steel (HCS), renowned for its toughness and resistance to tensile stress and twisting forces during high-speed blade oscillation, preventing the blade from snapping when stripping through thick or sticky materials.

Pointed Tip Geometry: The slim, slightly rounded pointed tip allows for precise direct plunge cutting into soft materials to begin work accurately and for clean trimming right into square corners.
