SUMO Welding Electrode Grey 4.0 mm is a high rutile flux-coated welding electrode conforming to AWS A5.1 E6013 standard. Designed for welding thick general mild steel, the 4.0 mm core wire size enables deep and fast weld deposition, making it ideal for structural steel work requiring high weld strength while maintaining a fine bead appearance.

Feature

High Deposition Rate: The 4.0 mm wire size allows high metal deposition rates per pass, ideal for thick structural work.

Stable Arc & Deep Penetration: Provides a stable and smooth arc with excellent deep penetration for medium to very thick steel.

Low Spatter: Produces low spatter even when using high current, saving workpiece cleaning time.

Excellent Slag Removal: The slag covering the weld is thick and uniform, easily chipped off to reveal a shiny, clean weld bead.

Multi-position Welding: Despite its large size, it still performs well in multiple welding positions, especially in flat and horizontal positions.

Application
