SUMO welding rod model ER4043 is an aluminum filler rod containing approximately 5% silicon (Al-Si5), specifically designed for TIG (GTAW) welding. Its key highlights are the excellent fluidity of the molten metal and a low melting point, helping welders easily control the weld puddle and reducing the risk of cracking after the weld cools down.

Low Melting Point: Features a lower melting temperature range than other aluminum grades, reducing heat accumulation and workpiece distortion.

Clean & Bright Finish: Delivers a bright, clean weld seam with good corrosion resistance.
High Purity: The rod undergoes a clean manufacturing process free from impurities, resulting in a quiet and stable arc.
Application
Suitable for welding grade 6061, 6063 aluminum (structural grades, doors, windows) and grade 356 cast aluminum.
Used for repairing automotive parts such as cylinder heads, alloy wheels, and general aluminum structural fabrication.
Directions for use: Must be used with a TIG welding machine (AC system) and pure argon gas (100% Argon) as shielding gas.
Recommendation: Clean the aluminum workpiece surface with a stainless steel wire brush to remove the oxide film before welding.
