SUMO flux-cored welding wire model E71T-GS is a mild steel welding wire that requires no shielding gas (Gasless Flux Cored Wire). The wire contains flux inside its core, which self-generates a protective shielding layer over the weld bead during arcing. Designed to eliminate the hassle of carrying gas cylinders, it is ideal for general structural steel welding in windy areas or on-site work.

Gasless Operation: Convenient, no need to connect to a CO2 gas cylinder, reducing equipment transport burdens and saving costs.

Outdoor Performance: Excellent for outdoor use, as there is no issue with wind blowing shielding gas away from the weld bead.

Stable Arc & Low Spatter: Delivers a smooth and stable arc with low spatter, allowing welders to control the weld bead easily.

Self-Peeling Slag: Slag covers the weld bead well and removes easily, resulting in a clean and smooth weld surface.

All-Position Welding: Supports welding in all positions, including flat, vertical, and overhead.

Application

Suitable for welding mild steel in general steel structures, fences, doors, and roof frames.

Performs exceptionally well for field maintenance and DIY projects.

How to use: The welding machine must be set to Gasless (Flux Core) mode. Typically, connect the ground clamp to the positive terminal (+) and the welding torch to the negative terminal (-) (DCEN system).

Recommendation: Steel surfaces should be cleaned free of oil stains and dirt for optimal penetration efficiency.
