SUMO Heavy Cut (Step 1) Car Polishing Compound, 1-liter size, is a high-quality heavy-cut rubbing compound designed for restoring heavily flawed vehicle paint surfaces. The formula effectively eliminates scratches, deep swirl marks, and fine sanding marks (P1500), smoothing dull or oxidized clear coat surfaces to prepare them for the subsequent finishing steps.

Application

Use as the first step (Step 1) for surface defect correction on paint with deep scratches or aged, deteriorated paint.

Suitable for use with wool pads or hard foam cutting pads.

How to use: Apply 3-5 drops of compound onto the polishing pad. Buff using a rotary or DA polisher at an appropriate speed until the compound diminishes and defects are removed, then wipe off with a clean microfiber cloth.

Recommendation: For a perfect finish, follow Heavy Cut with a fine polish (Medium Cut or Finish Gloss) to eliminate fine swirl marks and enhance gloss depth.
