The OKAZAKI model NPD050-090 is an industrial-quality NC Starting Drill from Japan, manufactured by OKAZAKI SEIKI. Made of cobalt high-speed steel (HSS-Co / HSCO), it is designed to create a highly accurate starting point prior to actual drilling. It helps prevent drill walking or slipping, ensuring holes are accurately positioned according to drawings, while also extending the lifespan of the primary drill bit.

90° Point Angle: The 90-degree point angle is designed for versatility; in addition to precise centering, it is also ideal for hole chamfering for countersunk screws.

Cobalt High Speed Steel (HSCO): Premium cobalt-alloyed material delivers superior heat resistance and maintains cutting edge hardness better than standard HSS, making it ideal for continuous drilling operations.
