The OKAZAKI Model NPDC100-090 is a large 10.0 mm. NC Starting Drill manufactured by OKAZAKI SEIKI from Japan. Made from Cobalt High-Speed Steel (HSS-Co / HSCO), it is designed to create high-precision center dimples (spotting) on CNC or milling machines, preventing the main drill bit from walking or wandering at startup. Its large size provides exceptionally high rigidity.

Feature

90° Point Angle: The 90-degree point angle is a standard angle that allows standard drill bit tips to center immediately, and is ideal for chamfering hole edges for large screw heads.

High Cobalt HSS (HSCO): The material hardness provides excellent heat resistance even when drilling tough or hard materials, retaining edge sharpness longer than standard HSS bits.

Maximum Rigidity: With a short, thick shank and body (10 mm. diameter), it delivers maximum rigidity, damping vibration at the start of drilling better than smaller sizes.
