The OKAZAKI HR Series Model HR3500 is a large industrial-grade hand reamer (35.0 mm.) made of premium High Speed Steel (HSS) to the highest Japanese standards. Designed for the final finishing step of hole drilling to size pre-drilled holes to the highest precision, eliminate rough surfaces left by standard drill bits, and improve the hole's inner surface finish to meet tight engineering tolerances.

Premium HSS: Made from premium high-speed steel offering high toughness and heat resistance, ensuring a long cutting edge life even in large-hole reaming applications.

Exceptional Precision: Precision-ground according to Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) for guaranteed dimensional accuracy.

Straight Flute Geometry: Straight flutes provide stability during rotation, reduce vibration, and deliver a fine, smooth surface finish.

Long Lead Taper: Designed with a tapered lead at the tip to guide and support smooth, accurately aligned entry into the hole.

Application

Used for fine reaming of pre-drilled holes to achieve a 35.0 mm. size with micron-level precision.
