The OKAZAKI HR Series Model HR0420 is a high-quality hand reamer made from High Speed Steel (HSS), precision-engineered and manufactured in Japan. Designed for final finishing of pre-drilled holes to achieve an accurate diameter of 4.2 mm, it corrects drilling inaccuracies, eliminates roughness, and refines the internal surface finish to meet engineering standards.

Feature

High-Grade HSS: Made from premium high-speed steel with outstanding toughness, abrasion resistance, and edge retention.

Straight Flute Design: Straight flutes provide stable cutting action and reduce chatter during manual rotation.

Long Lead Taper: A long ground lead taper at the tip ensures self-centering, prevents tilting, and makes starting reaming easy.

Square Drive Shank: Standard square end designed to fit securely in a tap wrench without slipping.

Application

Used for precision reaming of 4.2 mm holes to improve surface quality and achieve a precision-fit hole size.

Ideal for machinery assembly, mold and die maintenance, and hole finishing for dowel pins.
