The OKAZAKI HR Series Model HR0400 is a premium manual hand reamer made of High Speed Steel (HSS) from Japan. It is designed to finish existing pre-drilled holes to the highest precision at a diameter of 4.0 mm. It removes metal burrs and rough surfaces from drilling, sizes holes to the required tolerance, and delivers an exceptionally smooth internal surface finish.

Superior HSS Material: Made from high-quality high-speed steel, providing exceptional strength, excellent abrasion resistance, and long-lasting cutting edge sharpness.

Straight Flute Design: Straight flutes provide stable material cutting, reduce chatter, and deliver a consistently smooth, fine surface finish.

Long Lead Taper: Features an extra-long ground lead taper at the tip for self-centering when starting manual reaming, preventing hole misalignments.

Precision Square Shank: Square shank end designed to fit snugly with a tap wrench, transferring torque with high precision.

Application

Used for fine reaming of 4.0 mm drilled holes to improve surface quality and hole size to high precision standards (H7 or specified tolerance).

Ideal for maintenance work, precision machinery assembly, and installing pins or dowels.
