The OKAZAKI HR Series Model HR0490 is a Japanese industrial-standard Hand Reamer. Made of High Speed Steel (HSS) with high strength and precision, it is designed for finishing pre-drilled holes to an exact specified diameter of 4.9 mm. The tool removes a minimal amount of material to deliver an exceptionally smooth surface finish and correct hole size discrepancies caused by standard drill bits.

Feature

High-Quality HSS: Made of premium-grade high-speed steel, heat- and wear-resistant, extending tool life.

Straight Flute Design: Finely ground straight flutes make it easy to control direction during reaming and provide a uniformly smooth surface finish.

Precision Taper Lead: An extra-long lead taper at the tip supports self-centering when starting hand reaming, preventing tilted or oversized holes.

Standard Square Shank: The square end of the shank allows secure use with tap wrenches or reamer holders.

Application

Used for fine reaming of 4.9 mm drilled holes in the final step to achieve accurate fitting tolerances.
