The OKAZAKI HR Series (Hand Reamer) model HR0830 is a high-quality hand reamer made of High Speed Steel (HSS) according to Japanese industrial standards. This tool is designed for final finishing of drilled holes to enlarge them with specified precision tolerances and provide an exceptionally smooth inner surface finish that general drill bits cannot achieve.

Feature

Premium HSS: Made from selected grade High Speed Steel, providing strength, wear resistance, and excellent edge retention.

Long Taper Lead: The cutting edge tip features a longer lead taper than machine reamers, facilitating easy, aligned self-centering when starting by hand.

Precision Flutes: Straight flutes are precision-ground for accurate removal of small amounts of metal chips.

Square Shank End: The end of the shank is square-shaped for a firm grip with a T-handle tap wrench or reamer wrench, preventing slipping.

Application

Used for precision reaming of 8.3 mm drilled holes to improve hole size and surface finish.

Suitable for machine maintenance, engineering component assembly, or preparing pin holes on-site where machines cannot reach.
