The MAKITA D-73988 is an SDS-PLUS adapter shank for masonry core bits (TCT Core Bits). It acts as an interface to transfer power from the rotary hammer to the core bit body. Equipped with a socket for a center pilot drill bit and a locking screw, it is made of special-grade steel that delivers excellent resistance to repeated impacts.
