The Makita B-46121 is a pilot drill bit for diamond hole saws (diamond core bits) manufactured using vacuum brazed technology, which bonds diamond grit to the drill shank more densely and durably than conventional electroplating. Designed as a starting point for drilling extremely hard and slippery materials that standard drill bits cannot penetrate.
