The Makita D-61450 is an adapter set with a retractable carbide-tipped (TCT) center pilot drill bit, designed for use with concrete core bits/hole saws. Its key highlight is that the pilot bit retracts once the hole saw has penetrated deep enough into the material, eliminating the need to remove the pilot bit halfway through and facilitating easier debris ejection.
