The Makita B-66466 (MAM007) is a routing blade primarily designed for "deep reach." With an impressive blade length of 70 mm, it is one of the longest plunge cut blades in the Starlock Max system. Coated with robust tungsten carbide grit along both the tip and side edges, it allows you to work in deep recesses or under material edges that standard-sized saw blades cannot reach.

Extra Long Reach (70mm): The 70 mm length provides access to deep, tight job site spaces, such as grout lines under counters or deep structural joints.

Plunge & Lateral Cutting: Designed to plunge cut straight down and use the side edges to grind and widen grooves all in one blade.

Extreme Durability: Carbide grit resists abrasive wear from construction materials many times better than standard steel blades.

Starlock Max Stability: Despite the extra-long blade length, the Starlock Max system securely locks the blade in place, reducing flexing and vibration transferred back to your hands.

Application

Grouting work: Routing out damaged grout in especially deep areas or hard-to-reach spots obstructed for shorter blades.

Construction work: Cutting or chasing grooves in aerated concrete, fiber cement boards, or drywall for embedding electrical wiring/conduits in thick walls.

Repair work: Removing adhesive residue or hardened mortar deep within structural joints.
