"The MAKITA B-65713 17 mm socket is designed with a center hole running through the entire length of the socket (Pass-Through), which is the key feature of this system, allowing you to tighten nuts on long threaded rods without bottoming out.

The socket is made from high-strength material (such as Chrome Vanadium Steel) to withstand torque, typically featuring a 6-point or 12-point design that is slightly slimmer than standard sockets for better access in confined spaces.

Important Note: This pass-thru socket must be used in conjunction with a Pass-Through Ratchet from Makita or other brands designed to support this system. It cannot be used with standard 3/8-inch or 1/2-inch ratchets. Features
