Features The Makita B-40543 bandsaw blade is a high-quality Bi-Metal (BIM) blade that provides wear resistance and a long service life. The teeth are made of High-Speed Steel (HSS) and the blade body is made of flexible spring steel. This blade has 14 TPI (Teeth Per Inchteeth per inch), which is the coarsest tooth pitch in this series (for the DPB181). Having fewer teeth allows for faster swarf removal and reduced heat build-up.
