A: Refers to Aluminum Oxide (for steel)

30 (Coarse Grit): A grit slightly coarser than standard (coarser than 36) for rapid material removal rates during cutting (Aggressive Cutting)

R (Medium Hardness Bond): Medium bond hardness, providing optimal sharpness and durability
