- MAKITA B-31762 hole saw is a Bi-Metal (BiM) hole saw for drilling large 73 mm (approx. 2-7/8 inches) holes with a maximum usable cutting depth of 40 mm.

The body is made of Bi-Metal High-Speed Steel (HSS Bi-Metal) with 8% Cobalt added to the teeth. Cobalt enhances strength and heat resistance against friction when drilling hard materials such as thick metal and stainless steel, providing the hole saw with a long service life and consistently high performance.

A key feature is its compatibility with the Ezychange Quick-Change System, Makita's unique quick-release mechanism. This system allows users to:
