The body is manufactured from High-Speed Steel Bi-Metal (HSS Bi-Metal), the standard material for high-quality hole saws, with teeth reinforced with 8% Cobalt. Cobalt provides greater strength and heat resistance than standard HSS hole saws, giving it a longer service life when drilling hard, heat-generating materials such as metal and stainless steel.
