The body is made of Bi-Metal High-Speed Steel (HSS Bi-Metal), the standard material for high-quality holesaws, reinforced with 8% Cobalt. Cobalt significantly enhances wear and heat resistance, allowing the holesaw to drill hard materials like metal and stainless steel efficiently with a long service life.

The main feature is compatibility with the Ezychange Quick-Change System, Makita's unique quick-change mechanism. This system offers 2 main benefits:

Holesaw changing: can quickly change to other holesaw sizes without needing any additional tools
