The 1/2" lead anchor is a very large metal anchor that provides the highest load capacity among lead expansion anchors. The anchor body is made of lead, which is ductile and offers extremely high corrosion resistance.When installed into the prepared large drilled hole, tightening the 1/2" eye bolt into it causes the lead anchor sleeve to expand, generating strong and uniform compressive force against the hole wall for a firm and permanent hold. This set is an excellent choice when a strong, weather-resistant, and high-safety hanging point is required.
