The PANSIAM EXTRA steel anchor is an internally threaded anchor (Drop-in Anchor) designed for strong and permanent fastening in concrete. The 1/2-inch size is a large size categorized for Heavy Duty applications requiring very high load capacity, referring to the internal thread hole size used to screw in a 1/2-inch bolt or threaded rod for secure fastening.A prominent feature of the PANSIAM EXTRA/Pro Anchor steel anchor is the improved structure featuring 3-point hooks/claws around the sleeve, which provide superior grip into concrete walls upon expansion. The head is chamfered/tapered to prevent thread damage from hammering during installation.Installation requires a rotary hammer drill to drill into concrete using the specified drill bit size (typically an 18 mm or 19 mm bit), cleaning the hole, and driving the internal expansion plug to expand securely against the concrete hole wall. This set comes in a pack of 4 pcs.
