The 3/8-inch size is a larger, popular size used in structural applications requiring relatively heavy load capacity, referring to the internal thread hole size used to screw in a 3/8-inch bolt or threaded rod for secure fastening.A prominent feature of the PANSIAM EXTRA/Pro Anchor steel anchor is the improved structure featuring 3-point hooks/claws around the sleeve, which provide superior grip into concrete walls upon expansion. The head is chamfered/tapered to prevent thread damage from hammering during installation.
