It features a robust and durable Bi-Metal construction; the body is made from flexible spring steel while the cutting teeth are made from High-Speed Steel (HSS) alloyed with 8% cobalt (8% Cobalt Alloy), a key component that provides high heat and wear resistance during drilling in tough metals such as steel and stainless steel.This hole saw has a working depth (Working Length) of 20 mm, specifically designed for cutting thin materials (Sheet Metal), with a cutting capacity of 0.8-5 mm thickness in general steel and 0.8-2 mm thickness in stainless steel. The Vari-Pitch tooth design ensures efficient cutting and reduced vibration. This large-sized hole saw requires an appropriate Makita arbor and pilot drill bit, which are sold separately.
