The MAKITA B-36108 BIM hole saw is a premium quality (Premium Range) hole cutter for drilling holes with a diameter of 127 mm. Its structure is made of durable Bi-Metal. The teeth are made of High-Speed Steel (HSS) alloyed with 8% cobalt (8% Cobalt Alloy), which is a key element that makes the cutter highly resistant to heat and wear during drilling into hard metals such as steel and stainless steel.This hole saw model features a working length of 20 mm, specifically designed for drilling thin sheet materials (Sheet Metal), with a cutting capacity for general steel of 0.8–5 mm thickness and stainless steel of 0.8–2 mm thickness. The Vari-Pitch tooth design enables efficient cutting and reduces vibration. This large hole saw must be used with an appropriate Makita arbor and pilot drill (typically using a large arbor for 32–152 mm hole saws), sold separately.
