MAKITA B-29804 BIM Hole Saw is a premium-range annular cutter designed for drilling 38 mm diameter holes. It features a rugged Bi-Metal construction with saw teeth made of high-speed steel (HSS) enriched with an 8% Cobalt Alloy, an essential component providing high resistance to heat and wear when cutting tough metals like steel and stainless steel.This hole saw has a working length of 20 mm, specifically designed for cutting thin materials (sheet metal), offering a cutting capacity of 0.8–5 mm in mild steel and 0.8–2 mm in stainless steel. For convenient operation, this hole saw must be used with a compatible Makita arbor and pilot drill, sold separately.
