The MAKITA B-36027 BIM hole saw is a premium-quality annular hole cutter for drilling 70 mm diameter holes. Its Bi-Metal construction combines spring steel flexibility with rugged cutting teeth. The teeth are made of High-Speed Steel (HSS) reinforced with 8% cobalt alloy, a material exceptionally resistant to heat and wear, allowing the hole saw to cut cleanly through tough metals like steel and stainless steel. This series features a working length of 20 mm, perfectly suited for drilling sheet metal ranging from 0.8 to 5 mm in thickness. This hole saw must be used with a suitable Makita arbor and pilot drill, which are sold separately.
