The MAKITA B-29717 Bi-Metal hole saw is a professional-grade annular cutter with a diameter of 21 mm. The body is made from Bi-Metal, combining a flexible steel body with ultra-tough teeth made of High-Speed Steel (HSS) infused with 8% Cobalt Alloy. The cobalt addition provides teeth with superior hardness and resistance to high heat when cutting hard metals. The hole saw has a working length of 20 mm, which is ample and ideal for cutting thin materials such as 0.8-5 mm thick sheet metal. This hole saw must be used with a Makita arbor and pilot drill, which are sold separately.
