Makita hole saw SKU D-24935 is a 70 mm or 2-3/4 inch hole saw in the Bi-Metal Hole Saw (BIM) product line, designed for hole drilling requiring high precision and durability across a variety of materials: Bi-Metal construction: The teeth of the hole saw are made of hardened High-Speed Steel (HSS) for sharpness and wear resistance when cutting metal, while the body is made of a Flexible Shatter-Resistant Steel Body that helps prevent breakage under high impact or torque. Variable Pitch tooth design: Features a 4/6 TPI design with uneven spacing. This feature significantly reduces vibration during drilling, making cuts smoother, reducing heat buildup, and increasing chip clearance speed. Working depth: This hole saw model can drill up to a maximum depth of approximately 39 mm to 42 mm.
Accessories: This hole saw includes only the cutter body (arbor and pilot drill bit not included). It must be used with an appropriate arbor for hole saws 32 mm} and above for use with standard drills.
