The teeth are tipped with tungsten carbide, which provides exceptional resistance to abrasion and high temperatures generated during cutting hard metals. This gives the blade a service life many times longer than Bi-Metal blades when used in these specialized applications. The 8 TPI tooth count is ideal for rough and fast cuts in thick sheet metal from 4-12 mm and medium-to-large metal pipes/profiles (up to 175 mm). For maximum service life, use with coolant and set to a low stroke rate.
