TRUSCO Rectangular Wire Mesh Basket Tray VPB-5, Size 470x308x118 mm

TRUSCO VPB-5 Rectangular Perforated Steel Basket Tray, Size 470x308x118 mm.
The TRUSCO VPB-5 steel tray is a parts storage container featuring a large rectangular perforated mesh design (Steel Punching), with external dimensions of 470x308x118 mm and a 14.4-liter capacity. This model is specifically designed for fluid drainage, as the perforations on the base and sides allow water or oil to drain away from stored parts. The tray is made of zinc-plated metal for high resistance to rust and corrosion, which is essential for applications involving moisture or chemicals. In addition, the VPB-5 tray is stackable to enhance oil drainage efficiency while stacked and help save vertical storage space.

Specifications
- Excellent Oil/Fluid Drainage: The perforated steel sheet construction allows water, oil, or chemicals to drain quickly and efficiently from stored parts. When stacked, the perforations help filter away draining oil.
- High Corrosion Resistance: Made of galvanized (zinc-plated) steel, providing high durability against rust and corrosion, ideal for use in humid environments or exposure to liquids.
- High Capacity and Large Size: Sized generously with a 14.4-liter capacity to accommodate large parts or high volumes.
- Stackable Storage: Designed to be stably stacked, which is especially beneficial when draining liquids from stacked parts.

Applications & Usage
- Oil and Coolant Drainage:Serves as a primary container for holding parts fresh from turning, grinding, or washing processes, allowing cutting fluid or other liquids clinging to the workpieces to drain through the perforations.
- Parts Cleaning and Drying Processes:Used as a basket for washing parts with water or solvents, or as a tray for drying parts after cleaning, as the perforations promote good heat and air circulation.
- Storage in Humidity-Controlled Cleanrooms:Suitable for storage in areas requiring ventilation and prevention of moisture buildup on parts to reduce the risk of rust formation.
- Staging Heavy Parts:The strong and durable galvanized steel construction allows for the safe storage and transport of heavy components.
